Access to Hwy 18/151 from County Road K will be completely closed as of Thursday, May 8, 2025. 

The Village of Barneveld is working with the Iowa County Highway Department on signage for drivers to get to County Road K North and South. 

For drivers coming off Hwy 18/151 and wanting to go north on County Road K the road will be posted to have them go to the interchange and then take County Road ID to County Road K North.

For drivers coming off Hwy 18/151 and wanting to go south on County Road K the road will be posted to have them go to the interchange and then east on Industrial Dr. to S. Jones St. From there they will go south on S. Jones St. to County Road K.

The following changes were made in the Village of Barneveld.

• Industrial Dr. and S. Jones St. are now 25 mph to County Road K South.
• There will be a 3-way stop at the intersection of Industrial Dr. and S. Jones St.
• There will be no parking on the west of S. Jones St. (side of the school) from County Road ID all the way to County Road K.

The Village Board may have to make other changes with the increase in traffic that will be coming through the village with County Road K being closed. Any future changes will be posted on the Village of Barneveld's Facebook page and the Village of Barneveld website (www.barneveldwi.com).
