2027 Revaluation Update

Revaluation Notice

 

STATE OF WISCONSIN

Town of Brigham, Iowa County

 

The Town of Brigham, Iowa County has contracted with Edge Professional Services to perform a reassessment of the Township for the 2027Fiscal year.   A letter was mailed to all taxpayers in the township to make everyone aware of this.  Wis. Stat. 70.05 pertains to Assessment standards and explain property owner’s rights.   

 

The township must have assessed values within 10% of equalized values once every five years and because of increased market values in the last several years the township has not met that requirement.  

 

Our goal is to conduct an accurate and transparent revaluation. We appreciate your cooperation in the revaluation process and ask that you address any questions you may have regarding the revaluation of Edge Professional Services at 608-574-293. Right to Refuse  Wis Stat 70.05(4m)  this explains your right to deny interior inspection. 

If an interior inspection is needed the assessor will be in contact with you.
